Cabinet reshuffle at County Hall announced

The Leader of Kent County Council, Linden Kemkaran, has today announced changes to her Cabinet.

Paul Webb moves from his role as Cabinet Member for Community and Regulatory Services to Cabinet Member for Integrated Children’s Services replacing Chris Palmer who moves into a new role as Deputy Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care.

Georgia Foster has stepped up to the role of Cabinet Member for Communities and Regulatory Services from her previous role as Deputy Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care with the new appointment of Chris Burwash as Deputy Cabinet Member for Communities and Regulatory Services.

There is another new appointment for Ben Fryer who becomes Deputy Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Special Projects.

Jamie Henderson has also stepped up from his previous role as Deputy Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Environment & Coastal Regeneration to the newly updated and expanded role of Cabinet Member for Environment, Coastal Regeneration and Public Health, supported by Mark Mulvihill as Deputy Cabinet Member.

Chris Hespe's Local Government Efficiency (DOLGE) portfolio has been expanded to incorporate Local Government Reorganisation and he will be supported by Paul Chamberlain as Deputy Cabinet Member.
