The initiative supports organisations committed to encouraging staff and customers to travel more sustainably, whether by walking, wheeling, or cycling, and to invest in facilities that make active travel a practical and attractive choice.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to fund:
- cycle parking and accessible storage
- lockers and showers for active commuters
- pool bikes and e-bike charging points
- innovative infrastructure to support walking, wheeling and cycling.

‘This grant scheme is about supporting practical improvements that make it easier for people to choose walking, cycling or wheeling - whether for commuting, appointments or shopping.”
