Have your say on emerging Local Transport Plan

You can now have your say on Kent’s emerging Local Transport Plan.

The plan, drawn up by Kent County Council, sets out the transport challenges faced in our county and our ambition for addressing those.

This will then help us to ensure our goals for the future of transport in Kent are stretching but realistic and focus on the right outcomes to make journeys better, whilst supporting our goal to turn the curve on carbon emissions and towards becoming a Net Zero county by 2050.

Feedback from residents, businesses and stakeholders will help KCC to develop proposals for how and where we should focus on improving transport.

We are particularly keen to hear what you have to say about whether the plan has the right ambition, whether the plan is proposing the right policy outcomes and objectives and finally, what actions you think we should take.

Once we have considered the feedback we receive, our aim is to issue the full draft Local Transport Plan for public consultation next year.

You can have your say by visiting www.kent.gov.uk/ltp5 before Monday 18th September.

If you have any questions or require any of the consultation material in hard copy, please email LTP5@kent.gov.uk or telephone 03000 416595. Please use the reference Local Transport Plan.
