“Eight schools in Gravesend received emails making threats on Thursday 13 February. Kent Police were notified and assessed the email as a non-credible threat.
“Police officers attended schools in the area this morning (Thursday 13 February) and will be in the area for reassurance as a precautionary measure with all schools open as usual. The affected schools have also been supported by Kent County Council staff from the Children, Young People and Education and Infrastructure teams.
“The matter is now with Kent Police to conduct further investigations.”
