Oakwood House will feature a works skills department, photography dark room, large pottery studio with a separate kiln room, a textiles room, printmaking studio, ICT suites and a big outdoor space which can be used for arts and fitness courses in summer.

Located one mile from the centre of Maidstone and a 20-minute walk from Maidstone West rail station, the new centre is accessible by car, bus or on foot. There will be limited parking at the new centre, but paid parking is available at Maidstone West Station and there is additional off-road parking on Queens Road.
