Schools and colleges have let students know how to collect their results. For many, this will mean picking them up in person, where teachers and support staff will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice. Some students may also be able to access their results online through their school or college.

Kent County Council's Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, Beverley Fordham, said:
"I want to wish every student across Kent the very best as they receive their results today. For many young people, this will be a day of celebration as they look ahead to university, an apprenticeship, further training or employment and the next stage of their journey.
"Others may be feeling disappointed if their results aren't what they hoped for. I'd like to reassure you that support is available and there are still plenty of opportunities open to you.
"Whatever your results today, remember that there are many different routes to success and plenty of people ready to help you take your next step."
KCC's Director of Education, Christine McInnes, added:
"Congratulations to all students on their hard work and commitment throughout their studies and thank you to the teachers, support staff, families and carers who have supported them along the way
“Results day can bring a mix of emotions, and it's important that young people know they don't have to make decisions alone. Schools and colleges will be on hand to provide guidance and help students understand the options available to them."
Students who do not receive the results they were expecting are encouraged to speak to their school or college as a first step. Teachers and careers advisers can help explain the options available and provide guidance on what to do next.
Students who have applied to university should also consider contacting their chosen university directly, as some institutions may still be able to offer places. Opportunities may also be available through UCAS Clearing.
There are many different routes available after receiving results, including apprenticeships, further education, training programmes and employment opportunities.
